The EP ends with a bang with a considerably upbeat song coming in on number five, Wide Awake. An original written and produced in September 2019, this is the fastest song on the EP, clocking in at 100 bpm. This is a collaboration with Japanese artist OBAKECHANT, a modular synth performer I met on Instagram. Really makes me wonder whether social media isn't actually as evil as they showed it to be on The Social Dilemma on Netflix. The lyrics in this song talk  about how people change and it feels awkward at first to get used to this new change, but time moves on and things eventually get back to normal. Change is pretty inevitable, one just has to get used to it.
