Originally written in December 2018 as ‘thoughts in the wind’, this track blends raw acoustic elements as well as ambiance from the surroundings, just a lead vocal with a guitar, as it captures the feelings Poly had for a fellow musician he had seen performing at one of India’s premier music festivals that year. Poly’s infatuation and admiration blossomed into this piece as inspiration hit him straight in his face when she latter uploaded a story onto her Instagram profile of a pale blue sky, a bird flying in one corner of it. Seemed just like something you’d see in a dream. Poly could imagine a soundtrack over that image, maintaining the dream vibe.

That idea gave birth to the first few lines of the song. Poly worked further on it in February 2021, before the shoot of reality’s music video in his spare time when he was reminded of the memories of the incidents, cracking up at the thoughts and how they had made him feel in the past. Filled with nothing but respect and appreciation for the artist, Poly dedicates this song to everyone who’s been in love, no matter how hard it may feel, no matter if there are promises that may never stick. Love can sometimes be about compromise, and understanding that you can’t go into it with expectations. If it has to work out, it will. In its own time.

A relaxing, dreamy track filled with the raw nature of Polymancer’s voice and just a guitar as the instrument, the listener can lay back and wind down to the droning sounds of the instrument and the vocal, mixed just right to blend into the surroundings, at times like the evening, the night, or even the early morning, accompanied by a nice soothing drink. Specific environmental experiences would of course elate the entire experience of listening to the song, but the choice of drink will be entirely your decision at the end of it all. Where you want to go is your choice - the task of taking you there can be left up to the music.
